These thoughts came to mind on the Sunday before I left (5/27/07) for a summer overseas. I know I shared them with some folks before I left, but here they are for all.

People give pain and suffering a bad rap ... and rightly so. But, have you ever thought of the following?
- Without pain and suffering, there is no cross of redemption.
- Without pain and suffering, there is no blood spilled out for our salvation.
- Without pain and suffering, there is no need and sense of urgency to call upon the Lord (because all is "good.")
- Without pain and suffering, there is often no stirring within our hearts and lives to help our brothers and sisters and attempt to save and rescue mankind from atrocities like genocide, suicide, abortion, and poverty.
Just some things to consider the next time you are faced with pain and suffering. :)

Amanda, I did not save the user ID and password to get onto this site and my mother needs it because she lost it. Will you either send it to her email dorisanngreen@hotmail .com or mine. Thank you! Bless you on your trip and come home safely.
